People know me as My Spanish Flow, but my name is Mercedes Jaramillo. I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, and I’ve been teaching languages for over 10 years.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Language Teaching, a master’s degree in Audiovisual Translation, and additional training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I’m also a language learner myself, so I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the classroom.
I use that experience to create practical, enjoyable materials that help adult learners feel more confident using real, everyday Spanish while discovering the expressions, culture, and little details that make Colombian Spanish unique.
